Getting ready for next w-e races !

Me and Gabi in Val-Thorens - Gabi the Bazilian skier !
Last Sunday, we took a break from skiing gates. We decided to cross the 3valleys (Courchevel, Méribel, Val-Thorens, Orelles). ''Les 3 vallées'' is the biggest ski domain in the world with 160 ski lifts and over 400 runs, and thats without all the hors-piste and glaciers in the area. It took 3 hours and around 15 chairlifts/runs just to get across... By the time we got to the 4th valley we had to turn around and head back to Courchevel. The crossing is 14km ! I knew it was a big place, but I wasn't expecting it to be that huge. Seriously, you would need a lifetime to ski the entire resort...

After our day we took a 30min walk in the woods to get to Chloe's mom's house. A 300 years old place only accessible by feet or ski-doo in the winter. Its an incredible place with a breathtaking view on the mountains. We brought cheese, wine and baguette so we could cook some cheese fondue :) We ended the dinner with some apple pie. Yesterday after preparing the hay for the horses we walked down to Bozel taking the snowshowing tracks in the wood and rested for the rest of the day. It felt good to rest a little on Monday as we skied a lot of good runs on the WC run today. We made sure to ski a lot as the bad weather is coming at the end of the week !

Races are coming next w-e in Saint-Gervais, close to Chamonix. I'm pretty pumped !

Love you all

Gab
